Our heat pumps are manufactured by POWERK, the focus has been on the development and production of economical and environmentally friendly heat pump systems for efficient , environmentally friendly heating, hot water preparation and increasingly also for building cooling.
A special feature is a hygienic hot water temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. The various solutions in the area of ground, air and large heat pumps are complemented by the modular POWERK heat pump system technology such as the Navigator for user-friendly heating control. Storage systems and fresh water stations round off the product portfolio.
Function of the heat pump
Comfortably warm: Our heat pumps heat large areas in floor or wall heating. Even with low heating temperatures, the rooms remain constantly comfortably warm. Natural and clean: Our modern heat pumps work emission-free on site. No soot, no smoke, no wood dust can pollute the air you breathe. If the heat pump is operated with green electricity (e.g. hydropower, photovoltaics), the entire process of generating energy is completely emission-free and CO2 neutral. This means that natural resources will continue to serve us well in the future. Extremely economical: heat and energy from nature is available to you free of charge - an advantage that pays off: 4 x environmental energy + 1 x electricity = 5 x heating heat. The Terra heat pump basically works like a refrigerator: refrigerators extract heat from food and release it back into the room via the back. A heat pump also gets heat from air, water or ground and pumps it to a temperature level that is necessary to heat a house.
Efficiency: COP, annual performance factor and power consumption
Heat pumps are not only environmentally friendly, but also economical. Our products deliver high COPs across the board. COP stands for Coefficient of Performance, the measure of efficiency. The higher the COP, the lower the heat pump's power consumption. However, the heat pump is not alone responsible for the high efficiency of the heating system: the heat source (earth or air) and the heating system - the flow temperature and the coordination of the heat distribution in the house - also play a major role. The installer is responsible for this second part, which is why we attach just as much importance to “know-how from the installer” as to “cutting-edge technology from iDM”. And the third person responsible for low energy consumption is you, because a room temperature of 24 degrees Celsius requires significantly more energy than 21 degrees Celsius. But one thing is certain: with heat pumps from iDM, you lay a good foundation for low electricity costs thanks to high COPs.
